Carolyn Sue Stephenson, 89, of Bloomington, Indiana formerly of Nashville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Majestic Care of Bloomington. Carolyn was born November 18, 1936, in Maywood, Indiana, the daughter of Maurice and Pauline Fogleman. Carolyn married Donald Robert Stephenson, March 13, 1953. He preceded her in death, October 30, 2018.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Lou Ann Smith of Galesburg, Illinois, Vickey Marshall of Whitestown, Indiana, Mark Stephenson of Pueblo, Colorado and Daughter-in-law, Debbie Stephenson of Nixa, Missouri, seven grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Aaron, CR, Allen, Courtney, Alyssa. nine great- grandchildren, Draven, Kylie, Colt, Bradden, Ila, Esme, Saleen, Ryker and Keeve, and her sister Cheryl Mason of Cumming, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Stephenson, son-in-laws, Chuck Smith, Paul Marshall and her sister, Peggy Clark.
Carolyn was Owner of Yesterday's Lore (Gift Shop) and Honeysuckle Hideaway with her husband Donald, in Nashville, Indiana. She was a Seamstress, Upholsterer, Crafter. She enjoyed Floral Arranging, Making Wreaths, Estate Sales, Restoring Furniture, and DIY Projects. She was a charter member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Bloomington, IN. She adored her cats and dogs over the years. She was also a member of The Friends of Brown County State Park of Nashville, Indiana.
Graveside Services will be held at Noon on September 8, 2026, at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington, Indiana.
