Cindy Davis Martin

In the twinkling of an eye a miraculous healing took place on Thursday afternoon in Hendricksville IN. Those who were blessed to live it will never be the same. Cindy Martin, age 53, of Hendricksville, went to be with the Lord at her residence after long and courageous battle with A.L.S. Born February 25, 1960 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Phillip and Janice (Sluss) Davis. She worked for T.I.S. as an accounts receivable clerk prior to becoming ill. A long-time and very devoted disciple of Christ, she was a member of the Solsberry Christian Church, the Hoosier Hills Emmaus Community and Community Bible Study.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband and bestest buddy, Randy Martin and their children and grandchildren; Johnny and Leesa Fleener, and their children, Kelsey and JB; Heather Martin: Travis Martin, Meghan Martin, Taylor Martin and Brayden Martin; Rebecca & Robb Decker and sons, Frankie and Henry Decker. Also left are her loving and supportive parents, Phillip and Janice Davis; her brothers and their families; Scott and Melinda Davis, and Mark Davis and Elizabeth Topliffe-Davis and their daughter, Harper Davis; her Uncle John and Aunt Beverly and extended family and the dear brothers and sisters at Solsberry Christian Church. Her family cared for her, caused her to laugh uncontrollably, and feel loved tremendously. Cindy and Randy were blessed by God with friends and family that helped take care of her. They cooked, cleaned, shopped, did yard work, and much more, all as acts of love, but most importantly they prayed.

There will be a celebration of Cindy's life on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at the Solsberry Christian Church. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
