Constance (Connie) Snyder, age 67, of Bloomington Indiana, daughter of William E. Wethington and Mary R. Finch, was born July 2,1959 in New Castle, Indiana. Passed away unexpectedly August 18th, 2026 with her loving husband Robert Snyder by her side. They were married July 7th, 1999 in Tennessee.
She was raised in Indianapolis where she became a dental assistant which she did off and on throughout her years. She loved her work and patients. Many of which felt like or became friends. She was loved by her coworkers and gained some wonderful lifelong friends along the way. You couldn't go anywhere without running into someone she knew that wanted to catch up or sing her praises. She was known as Connie, wife, daughter, mother, grandma, meemaw, great-grandma, Momma Connie, and sometimes Crazy Connie.
Connie loved fiercely and was a mother above all else. She gave her all to everyone around her. She moved to Kennard Indiana with her children when she met her husband Rob. She ran a pizza shop there with her kids and friends for a few years. Their home and shop became a safe spot for many of the kids in the neighborhood and the place to hang and be together. She was Momma Connie to soo many throughout her years.
She later returned to Bloomington with her whole family and returned to dental assisting until she retired. She spent her last few years being involved in the daily lives of her grandkids. Attending their games, running them to practices, doing school pickups, and sleepovers. Helping anywhere she could.
Connie loved to vacation with her whole family more than anything. One of her favorites being Branson, MO. She loved going out on the boat and spending the day out in the sun, tending to her flower garden, cooking in her kitchen, being with her grandkids, and helping anyone she could.
She was the backbone of this family, a powerhouse of a woman and a Jack of all trades (Working on cars, fixing pipes, cutting her own hair, cooking for anyone and everyone and so many more endless things). She was honest even when it was hard and stubborn to her core. She wanted the best for everyone and for them to be as great as she knew they could be. She was endlessly hardworking. Taking care of people wasn't simply something she did, it was woven into who she was. She loved through action, sacrifice, showing up and making sure the people she loved knew they always had someone in their corner. She leaves behind an immeasurable absence, but an even greater legacy. Her love will live on in the hearts of everyone who has been touched by her words, guidance and support. We will forever be missing her and thinking of her always.
She is survived by her husband Robert Snyder. Her children Silena Wethington (Ryan Applegate), Stephen Fields, Carrie Fields, Jonathan Fields (Melanie Premo). Her Sister Theresa Tilton (Husband, Tom Tilton).
She also leaves behind her grandchildren Aleigha Galindo(Matt Hopper), Nathaniel Applegate, Gavin Fields, Logan Fields, Ashlyn Premo, Abram Fields, Vincent Campbell, Jackson Campbell. As well as great grandson Noah Hopper.
She was preceded in death by her parents William E. Wethington and Mary R. Finch (Husband, Walter Finch). Her brothers Billy Wethington and Dennis Wethington. And grandchild Briella Campbell.
