

Debbie had just recently celebrated her 70th birthday.
She was born in Lawrence County, Indiana and attended school at Bloomington High School, she earned an associate’s degree in accounting. Retiring as a bookkeeper.
Debbie loved arts and crafts, camping, reading, sitting by the pool, crocheting, arranging flowers and collecting anything and everything. In the last few years, her favorite activity was playing games on the computer and watching soap operas.
She loved with her whole heart, a love evident in her eyes and in all her actions. Throughout her life, she welcomed countless young people into her world, claiming them as family. Many came to know her as “Grandma,” a title she carried with warmth and pride.
She had a sharp eye for nonsense and never hesitated to call it out. Though she was strong and unwavering, her compassion for others was limitless.
Debbie is survived by husband, Tim Daggy and stepson Aaron Daggy.
She is survived by her grandchildren Caitlyn Daggy (Jon) and Braeden Daggy whom she loved beyond all words.
Debbie is survived by her mother Evelyn Morgan (Gene Paul) of Blgtn, IN; sister Cindy Sherfield of Blgtn, IN; brother Billy Patton (Shauna) Gilbert, Arizona, brother Tony Patton Blgtn, IN. Nephew Matt Sherfield (Savannah) and Great Nephew Max Sherfield. Along with aunts and uncles.
Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Patton, father Samuel Patton, nephew Jordan Sherfield, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Debbie made this world a better place and will be missed beyond all words.
Arrangements are pending at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral home.
Debbie will be laid to rest at Clear Creek Cemetery, Bloomington, IN by her daughter and nephew.
A celebration of life is planned for January 23rd at Redman Hall, Smithville Indiana at 2pm.
