Delmar R Harris

As a young man, Randy proudly served our nation as Marine during the Vietnam War. He eventually went on to work for the U.S. Postal service for 41.5 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Rex Bryant) Harris of Bloomington, IN; a granddaughter, Kaylee (Josh) Stacy; sisters, Rosalee Harris, Janet Elaine Harris, Kathy Watkins, and Connie Sink; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda Harris; his nephew Charles “Chip”, and his dog, Puffy.

Randy was of the Baptist faith. Earlier in life he enjoyed showing and breeding rabbits. He also loved to spend time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

Friends and family may visit between 10am-1pm on Tuesday May 2nd, 2023 from 10am to 1pm at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home (4150 E. 3rd St. Bloomington, IN 47401). The funeral service will be held at 1pm followed by burial at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
