Dennis D. Turner, 62 of Knoxville, TN and formerly of Bedford died Monday July 15, 2013 in Nashville, TN after a long illness. He was born February 3, 1951 in Bedford to Ervin D. and Bettie Martin Turner. He was retired from CSX Rail Road.
Survivors include two sons, Zachery Turner and his wife Roseanna of Oolitic and Josh Turner of North Carolina; a daughter, Tina Reynolds and her husband Chris of Texas; a brother, Jack Turner and his wife Norma of Mitchell; six grandchildren; and three nieces, Sandy, Judy and Terri. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis enjoyed watching NASCAR races and was a big Dale Earnhardt fan. Other interests included spending time with his children and grandchildren, Harley Davidson’s and going to flea markets looking for a deal. Always a story teller, Dennis loved to make those around him laugh.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 22, 2013 in Judah Church of Christ Cemetery.
