Dear Hanna family,
We will remember Don as an energetic, smiling face. He was always outgoing and friendly when he guided many young people, including our sons, in the MCCSC.
May your hearts soon begin to heal as you recollect many happy memories of Don.

Very sad to hear about Don's passing. He was a longtime friend of my parents, Margaret Hoadley Gildea Putnam (UHS Class of '51) and Robert Gildea (BHS Class of '49). I also enjoyed the many times I was able to spend time with him, including golf in Bloomington.

Carol, Tya, Brad, and Mark, we are very sad to learn of the passing of Don. We always enjoyed his company when we visited the garage-ma-hall, he always had great stories and we really enjoyed his outlook on things. He was a true gentleman and scholar. I know Bobby Leonard will be sad to learn of this and they both still argue the shot Don hit for Edgewood HS in the 1958 Indiana High school sectional that put Terre Haute Gershmier and Bobby Leonard out of the tournament. Wow what a life he led. Hoping to be celebrating his life and great memories. Rest in peace Don with all the grace and joy that you lived your life. God bless your family.
