Donald E. Wagner, 86 of Bloomington, passed away Friday May 9th. Don spent 30 plus years in the shoe business. He was involved with Monroe county politics where he served for many years as county councilman and opened the first Monroe County Building department as the county building commissioner. Don was a member and elder of Evangelical Commniuty Church.
Don is survived by his sister, Anabel Wagner and two sons Donald E. Wagner his wife Carol Wagner, Robert L. Wagner, Don's four grandchildren, Stacey Collins her husband Chauncey, Stephanie Wagner, Christopher Wagner and Matthew Wagner. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Evangelical Community Church Mission fund.
Memorial service will be held Saturday May 17th 2014 at 10am at Evangical Community Church.
