Donna was a graduate of Bloomington High School. She studied for her CNA at Ivy Tech Community College.
Donna was an avid Beatles fan. She was one of 73 million people glued to the black and white television set on February 9, 1964 to watch the Beatles first American television appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. As a young girl, she and her friends would talk for hours about the Beatles, comparing magazine articles and dreaming of the day when she could see them in concert. Her dream came true when she saw perform to a record audience in Indianapolis in 1964 and again in Cincinnati in 1966. Ringo was her favorite of the “Fab Four”. In 2013, Donna was again in Indianapolis to see Sir Paul McCartney in concert. This was the last time Donna was physically able to attend a concert.
Besides being a great Beatles fan, Donna loved her family and was devoted to her friends. She enjoyed camping in Hardin Ridge, watching soap operas, reading, solving cross word puzzles and also loved Motown music.
Donna is survived by her mother Margie Warner, her brother David Glasgow and will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Glasgow.
Visitation for Donna will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Larry Mitchell in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, Indiana 47401. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
