Donna Darlene (Richardson) Todd, age 79, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1947, in Monroe County, Indiana, to Walter and Ruby Gayle (Meadows) Richardson.
Donna graduated from Bloomington High School and attended Indiana University. She retired from Indiana University in 2017 after many years of service, working in the development offices for Radio/TV and the Kelley School of Business.
Donna was a longtime member of the Bloomington First Assembly of God church. In 1997, she became a founding member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, where she remained an active and devoted member until her illness. She enjoyed serving on planning committees for the church women’s group.
Donna loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed planning birthday and holiday celebrations and had a gift for making those occasions special for everyone around her. Holidays were always a highlight for Donna, with each grandchild having their own special Easter basket and Christmas stocking. She was also a devoted daughter, serving as the primary caregiver for her parents until their passing. When not caring for or spending time with family, Donna and Stephen enjoyed traveling across the country in their RV.
Donna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Stephen Todd of Bloomington; daughter, Stephanie (Brad) Lindvall of Indianapolis; son, Scott (Beth) Todd of Bloomington; grandchildren, Joshua (Abby) Lindvall, Grace (Caleb) Peters, Zachary Todd, Abigail Lindvall, Carter Todd, Owen Todd, and Lydia Lindvall; and great-grandson, David Lindvall.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby Gayle (Meadows) Richardson, and her grandson, Caleb Andrew Lindvall.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 2655 S. Adams Street, with Pastor David Wigington officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the service begins.
