Ellalouise Bolinger, 92, of Bloomington went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Issis (Nilson) Bruce. She was a member of Maple Grove Christian Church, Older American Center, RSVP, AARP, Golden Age Radio and Barrowed Time Club.
She retired from General Electric in 1980 after several years of service. She was married to Paul Bolinger on July 12, 1941, he passed away on July 18, 1955. Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra Sluss (Jerry) and Paula Snooks (Gilbert) , both of Bloomington; two sons, Jerry Bolinger (Sharon) and Joe Bolinger (Ellen) also of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Joe Bolinger (Beth), Jay Bolinger (Tamara), Chris Duncan (Jack), Michael Bolinger, David Sluss (Stanphie), Daniel Sluss, Pam Kelp (Dak), Andy Snooks (Lisa); and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bolinger; five sisters, Dora Cardwell Mitchell, Delitha Cowden, Bernice Bruce, Josephine Pelfree and Bessie Cain; four brothers, Appy Bruce, Clovis Bruce, Delmer Bruce, Roy Bruce.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary with Rev. Rick Amerine officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 5-8 p.m., burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IN.
