Evan Matthew Cantwell died at his home in Bloomington on December 10, 2018. He was born in Bloomington to James Cantwell and Nikiaya Southern on November 5, 2000. Evan was 18 years old.
Evan was a senior at Edgewood High School and was the lead bowler of his bowling team. He enjoyed amusement parks, magic cards and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church for most of his life. He went on a mission trip to Canada with the church and was looking forward to going again. Evan worked at Chic-Fil-A for several years as a production associate.
Evan is survived by his father and step-mother; James and Christine Cantwell, his mother and step-father; Nikiaya and Joshua Southern, his two sisters; Oksana Cramer and Raegan Cantwell, his maternal grandparents; Connie(Shipley)and Oreste Cerilli, grandfather Charles Shipley, his paternal grandparents; Mike and Linda Cantwell and Ed and Nancy Steiner.
Friends may call on Evan’s family on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 2700 E. Rogers St., Bloomington, IN 47401. A Celebration of Evan’s Life will begin at 2 p.m. also in Sherwood Oaks.
