Glenn Richard Goodroad, Sr.

Glenn Richard Goodroad, Sr., age 81, of Tampa, Florida, died Monday morning at his residence. Born May 19, 1933 in Jamestown, ND, he was the son of Raymond and Irene (Steinwand) Goodroad. He was employed by General Electric for 35 years before retiring in 1990. He was a 10 year member of St. Joseph Church of Zephyrhills.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Mae (Jenkins) Goodroad, of Tampa, two sons, Glenn Richard Goodroad, Jr., of Tampa, FL and Alan Goodroad, of Bloomington, IN; two daughters, Lisha (Elvin) Shinolt and Tamela (Douglas) Losure, both of Columbus, IN; three brothers, Roger (Pat) Goodroad, of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Goodroad, of Jamestown, ND and David (Vicki) Goodroad, of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, Christine (Emory) Stout, Robert Lankford, Jessica Goodroad, Glenn Richard (Ashley) Goodroad, III, Michael (Maisie) Goodroad, Kaylyn Shinolt and Whitley Shinolt and seven great-grandchildren, Katrina Carter, Abigail Dresnek, Zachary Stout, Jaythen Lankford, Kelsey Bailey, Cheyenne Goodroad and Wyatt Goodroad.

Friday evening, a rosary service will be held from 4:00pm to 4:30pm, and friends may visit the family from 4:30pm to 8:00pm at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St; Bloomington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Center in Bloomington.
