Hazel Hudson

Hazel Hudson, 68, of Bloomington, IN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2011. She was born May 8, 1943 in West, Mississippi the daughter of the late Robert and Lilly Mae Gilliam. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Lavern Hudson, her son, Lavelle Hudson; two brothers, Robert (Annie Pearl) Gilliam, Jr. and Harvey (Ruther Dean) Gilliam; two grandchildren, Desihara and Jorga Hudson; and many other beloved family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, C.W., Lindburg, and Roosevelt Gilliam; and a sister, Annie Mae Brown.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011 at Day Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Winona, Mississippi.
