We knew Herman and Norma from St. Paul's and would see them at Mass or walking at Lake Monroe or around town. Herman made such an impression with his kindness and easy manner and was so easy to make you feel like a long-time friend. Herman had a wonderful smile that was filled with joy.

Our sincere sympathies to Norma and Herman's family. God rest the soul of a wonderful man.

Uncle Herm was such a great man. Great husband, father, and grandfather.

As a child, me and my family visited often with the Bests.
As we all got older, everyone kinda moved away. I feel terrible that I did not stay in touch more often over the years.

Herm was so kind too me when I was diagnosed with cancer as a teenager. He helped me get a wig to wear while I took chemo.
Such a caring person.

We will miss you Uncle Herm.

Prayers to my Aunt Norma Jean and my cousins.

Love,

Greg Schroeder and family

Sorry for your loss. Herman was my Grandmothers agent and she always looked forward to him coming. They would talk about everything . He was so kind and patient with an elderly lady.
My daughter Tracy Stickels went to school with Linda. Heartfelt sympathy to all your family.
