Ilka Maria Dietrich, 61, of Bloomington died Thursday, May 12, 2016 in I.U. Health Hospice House. She was born August 1, 1954 in Kottweiler-Schwanden, Germany to Herman Karl Dietrich and Ilsa Maria Mueller Dietrich. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of the Saarland in Germany and on April 30, 2004 Ilka married Tracy Alan Hall and soon moved to Bloomington with her family. She had worked up to early retirement as a process manager in clinical research. Hobbies included gardening, being in nature, Yoga and meditation and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Tracy Alan Hall of Bloomington; a son, Julian A. Dietrich of Bloomington; two brothers, Bernd H. Dietrich of Kottweiler-Schwanden, Germany and Ralf K. Dietrich of Herrenberg, Germany; and two sisters, Petra E. Dietrich-Becker of Kottweiler-Schwanden, Germany and Karin H. Donauer of Altleiningen, Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents.
