Judy was born in Lebanon, Indiana on February 22, 1945 to Marvin and Martha (Hensley) Marsh.
Judy is survived by her husband, Don Skirvin; her daughters Carolyn (Eric) Garceau, and Christie (Brennan) Lien; four grandchildren Josh Garceau, Jordan Garceau, Carson (Ellie) Lien, and Camryn Lien; her siblings Bruce (Kathy) Marsh, Janet (Derrell) Barriger, Marilyn (Dennis) Swan, and Brenda Wischer; and sister-in-law Martha Cunningham as well as many nieces and nephews. Judy is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Martha Marsh; and her in laws Albert and Eva Skirvin and brother-in-law Ted Skirvin.
What an incredible person and bright light our mother, wife, Mamaw, and friend was in this world. Judy was humble and selfless with a gentle spirit. She was an encourager, a faithful and trusted friend, confidant and listener. The impact she made on so many lives may never be known in this life.
While Judy had various jobs throughout her life, her most important job was sharing Christ’s love. Judy taught her children and grandchildren about Jesus, an impact that will be felt for generations to come. We were blessed to call her ours, but we knew we shared her with many.
Judy now returns to her Creator and Heavenly Father where she will hear, “Well done good and faithful servant.” We will see her again in heaven. Until then, we will follow her example to love all, show kindness and empathy, and spread the love of Jesus.
