Justin was born to Susan Howe and Douglas Pauling in Beech Grove, IN on April 18,1983. He grew up in Greene County, IN and attended Eastern Greene High School before he went to Technical School to become a diesel mechanic. Through the years Justin created friendships within his profession, while working for companies in Bloomington, IN, including Tieman Tire, Asher Fleet Services and Bland’s Wrecker Services.
Justin was a loving husband to his wife, Meghan, and a proud father of his four children: Makayla, Miah, Leelah and Cole. His time was best spent with his family and his close buddies. His faith in God was found through his love and admiration of nature. Justin loved to spend time fishing and hunting. He found his peace with every baited hook. He was at ease when he sank into the trees and waited silently for a moment to take his harvest. Justin loved off-roading, working on vehicles, fishing tournaments and traveling. He spent his time adventuring and exploring with his loved ones and loved hiking, kayaking and being near the mountains. Justin loved experiencing new places and things and enjoyed the simplicity of a small local restaurant in a place he’d never been before in the company of his wife.
Better known by so many people who loved him as “Bubbles”, Justin touched the lives of anyone who met him. He was a one-of-a-kind guy, and he took so much pride in his family, raising his children and helping anyone around him. He was the type of man to stop everything to give to others and to lend a helping hand whenever he could. Justin always wore a smile around children and animals. He was magnetic. A friend to all, he was an incredible man. The life he lived will leave a lasting imprint on everyone who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his Papaw Harold, Nana Kathleen, “Da” (Joe) and Jerry and Florence Pauling. He is reunited with them and is relaxing with his feet up in a hammock and his face in the sun, enjoying the ‘Outskirts of Heaven’.
He is survived by his wife, Meghan Stonier-Howe, his children Makayla Howe, Miah Stonier, Leelah Stonier and Cole Howe, his mother Susan Howe, his father Douglas Pauling, his grandmother Rosemary Howe and countless other friends and extended family.
