Kyle wore many titles throughout his life—husband, father, friend, Uncle, and brother—but there was one name that held a special place in his heart: Papaw. His love for his granddaughters was immeasurable. The time he spent with his girls brought him a happiness that was beyond words. Playing tea party with them became one of his favorite pastimes and those precious moments will forever remain among the most treasured memories of the people who loved him.
Kyle had a lifelong love of fast cars, especially Mustangs. Just ask anyone who ever rode with him.
But perhaps Kyle was more at peace than in the woods than anywhere else. As an avid hunter, he understood both the beauty and the responsibility that came with the hunt. He respected nature, appreciated the sacrifice of a hunt well done, and found a sense of peace among the trees that was uniquely his.
Kyle also had a green thumb and seemed to have a gift for growing just about anything. Whether tending a garden or experimenting in the kitchen, he found satisfaction in creating something with his own hands. He loved experimenting with food and cooking for his family and friends, often bringing his own personality and creativity into whatever he was making.
And then there was simply Kyle—his goofy sunglasses, his unique personality, his unmistakable sense of humor, and of course, his colorful vocabulary. These were the little things that made him who he was and the things that will make his absence felt in a thousand unexpected moments.
Kyle will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him. But his life leaves behind something far greater than memories alone.
In our hearts, we will forever carry Kyle's strength, his courage, his dedication, and his never-ending love for us. We will remember the way he loved his family, the laughter he brought into our lives, the lessons he taught us, and the countless moments—both ordinary and extraordinary—that made our lives better simply because he was in them.
And now, there are still things to do, so we will do what Kyle asked of us;
We will keep going.
We will keep loving.
We will keep laughing.
We will keep telling his stories.
We will keep his memory alive in the children he adored.
And we will carry his love with us wherever life takes us.
Kyle, you were deeply loved in this life, and you will be deeply loved for all the lives you touched.
We love you Kyle! Papaw, Our hero.
