I knew Lavonna from our ladies small group / Bible study a few years ago. She was always so much fun to be around and was always ready with a story. She was loving, kind, sensitive, and loyal! I remember the pretty scarves she always wore around her neck. It is easy to picture her dancing before our Lord and waving one of those scarves at this very moment! I am praying for God's comfort for those she left behind.

Dear family of Lavonna,
I knew Lavonna through the ladies group at Genesis and we shared some lovely times while I still lived in Bloomington. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing and will not see her this year while visiting, but may God bless and encourage each one of her family that she is being cared for in His presence of peace and joy.
May each of you be encouraged and know His love for each one of us...We are so rich to know our Savior and He cares for all our needs.
In Christ, Donna

Oh my, what a courageous, sweet, frisky, young-in-heart-and-soul woman Lavonna was! She was especially kind and motherly towards me- soooo appreciated!! Am very thankful she passed quickly, and know she is basking in God's presence!

May you find comfort, hope, rest, and strength as you process her loss. 💕
