Was sorry to hear of Leonards passing. He will be missed. What a kind man and christian inspiration. It was a pleasure to have him as a customer and friend.

I did not know Leonard as well as many of his friends, but I found him to be kind, considerate, inventive, inquisitive, clever, persistent and likable. I will miss him and I know he will be missed very much by all of his co-workers at Cook in Ellettsville.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends at this difficult time.

I don't really have the words to express how much I thought of Len Dixson. The man took me into his house when I graduated from IU and had no idea where I was going to go or what I was going to do. He only asked that I attend church services with him on sunday. He was almost revered in the small church community that he belonged to. I know that God and his family were always the most important things to him. He often talked to me about family, about life, and about being a better person. Twenty years later, I still remember his advice and strive to be the kind of father that he was. Love and miss you Len.

Lena, just saw your brothers obituary. I am so sorry to hear this. I will lift you up in prayer as well as his wife and daughter. I have known you for a very long time and know you Believe. It will be my prayer that you will find comfort in knowing that you will again see your brother again. May God grant you the strength and peace in the coming days as your brother has reached the end of his journey on earth and into his Heavenly Home. Sending my love, Becky (Polley) Williams.

On various occasions, my brother and I were contracted to do carpentry work for Leonard and Vicki: we were always treated like family members, and their dealings was always "four square". RE 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Joe and I give our heartfelt condolences to the family and will always remember Leonard for his humourous and kind ways. He will be dearly missed by us.
