Linda Mae Hunter, age 65, of Bloomington, died peacefully at home Wednesday morning (08/12/2020). Born January 20, 1955 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Letty (Meadows) Hunter. Linda worked in the Bloomington Hospital Emergency Room for thirteen years prior to becoming a stay at home mother. Linda was an avid QVC shopper and loved watching the show “In the Kitchen with David” as well as murder shows. Linda loved kitty cats, especially her fur baby, “Ducky Jethro”.
Linda is survived by her fiancé, Daniel M. Ward, of Bloomington, her two daughters; Emily Ward and Shannon (“Her Boy” Kent) Fielder all of Bloomington, one brother, Fred (Kathy) Hunter, of Ellettsville; two sisters, Carolyn Cox, of Martinsville and Barbara (Jim) Hayes, of Ellettsville and her step-grandson, Brent Fielder.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Nora Lee Hunter and two brothers, Bobby Hunter and Donnie Hunter.
The family has decided to have a memorial service at a later date due to the current CoVid restrictions.
The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions be given to the Monroe County Humane Association.
