Lois Evelyn Trenta, age 86, of Bloomington, went to Heaven to meet her husband, Antonio Trenta on Saturday. Born October 4, 1924 in Bono Township, Mitchell, Indiana, she was the daughter of Everett and Anna Dora (McIntyre) Hawk.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Anne and George Berry, of Bloomington; two grandchildren and their spouses, Holly and Jeff Helms and Matthew and Melissa Berry and three great-grandchildren, Mason Helms, Chloe Belle Helms and Nolan Berry. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three children, Toni Kay Trenta, Anthony Trenta and John Lewis Trenta, one sister, Louise Lindley and two brothers, Harold Hawk and Howard Hawk.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. Friday at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Bloomington with Pastor Brian Helms officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 P.M. in the Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell, Indiana. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.
