Mable "Mickey" Omega (Miller) Wade

Mable Omega (Miller) Wade departed into the arms of our Lord at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 99 years of age.

Mable, known to those that knew her as Mickey retired from the RCA in Bloomington, IN. She was a member of Mercy Mission Apostolic Faith Church in Bloomington, IN.

Born in Lawrenceburg, KY on September 29, 1918, Mickey was the daughter of Wallace and Mable (Keene) Miller. She married Arthur Wade Jr. on June 26, 1944. He preceded her in death on May 31. 1985.

Mickey is survived by her four daughters, Wainona Collins and Cheryl Brown of Bloomington, IN; Patricia Bowers of Clinton, MI; and Paula Blewett of Columbus, IN; son in-law, William Hartfield of Bloomington, IN; eight grandchildren, Christopher Collins of Haddon Heights, NJ; Danielle Mitchell of Calgary, Alberta, CAN; Nichole Hartfield of Atlanta, GA; Branden Blewett of Jamestown, NY; Adaliah Brown of Indianapolis, IN; and Nikeeta Brown of Bloomington, IN; Otto Grant of Etobicoke, Ontario, CAN; and Nicholas Blewett of Columbus, IN. Mickey also had ten great grandchildren (known to them as GG).

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Cecilia Hartfield; one granddaughter; parents; six sisters and one brother.

The Going Home celebration will be conducted at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home on Monday, April, 23, 2018 at12:00 Noon with Rev. Donald Griffin Sr. and Bishop Willie Smith officiating. Calling will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IU Health Bloomington Hospice House.
