

Martha Elizabeth “Betty” Daniel, age 83, of Bloomington, pulled into her final station of life as we know it on earth on Thursday, April 28 at 11:55 P.M. at Garden Villa Care Center in Bloomington. Betty was born in Bloomington to Charles E. and Helen L. (Beaumont) Keilbach on July 10, 1927. On May 24, 1947 she married Harold R. Daniel and he preceded her death September 20, 1998. She was a cheerleader and graduate of Ellettsville High School in the class of 1945. Betty was a charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir as well as several weddings and funerals in her earlier years. She was active with the women’s circle at the church and enjoyed cooking for the many events at the church. She was a homemaker and active with her three children; sons, Steven I. Daniel, of Columbus, Indiana, Mark E. (Rhonda) Daniel, of Bloomington and daughter Beverly K. Brunt, of Bedford, Indiana. Also surviving are grandsons, M. Scott (Cindy) Kleindorfer and Eric L. (Lisa) Kleindorfer, both of Bedford; Justin L. Daniel, of Avon, Indiana, Joshua A. Daniel, of Bloomington; granddaughters, Janice L. (Roger) Ozbun, of Taylorsville, Indiana, Averie L. Smith, of Bloomington. There are six great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 A.M. at Day Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank VanAllen officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul United Methodist Church Choir Fund.
