Melinda Jo (Sparks) Wampler

Jo worked from 1984 to 2008 until her retirement with Richland Bean Blossom Community School Corporation. She enjoyed, customizing vehicles, going out to dinner with her family, going to casinos, mowing the yard; but most importantly spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Jo is survived by her son, Justin Abram; her sister, Tena Chandler; her brother, Larry (Denise) Sparks; her grandson, Bryce Staker; and many other beloved family members.

In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her daughter, Lacosta Ann Abram; a brother, David Lee Sparks; and a sister, Loretta Ann Sparks.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2021 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 East Third Street.
