Michael L. Wagner, 71, passed away at 1245 a.m. on January 16th, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Michael was an amazing man, father, husband, grandfather, poet, woodworker, cook, and lover of British Sports cars. He was renaissance man of sorts, able to incorporate different disciplines to make something magical and functional, either in its use or in the way it made you feel. He was a wonderful, caring, loving, generous man who had a great way with words. His quiet strength and dedication were ever present to anyone who was blessed to spend time with him. He was a lover of life, of others, and all that he encountered. A strong, gentle, loving soul, he was taken far too early. Michael spent the last 25 years of his life with the love of his life, Marilyn, with whom he raised 8 children and 18 grandchildren. He is missed by all, loved by all, and his memories will be celebrated daily. Thank you for everything Michael. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held in Day Funeral Home 4150 East 3rd Street Bloomington IN, 47401 on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 1-3 p.m.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.
