Michelle Dee Vermaat, 43, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at the Bloomington Hospice House. Michelle was born on November 5, 1968, in Aurora, Illinois, and was the daughter of Charles T. and Linda L. Thompson. Michelle was a long-time employee of Verizon Wireless on S. College Mall Rd., Bloomington.
Michelle is survived by her two daughters, Paige M. and Kayla M. Vermaat; her son, James R. Vermaat III; her mother, Linda L. Thompson; her sister, Marsai L. (Kevin) Hayslip; two nephews, Michael R. Exline and Tristan J. Hayslip; two nieces, Daniale R. Crain and Rachel E. Hayslip, all of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by two sisters; Virginia A. Exline and Daniale R. Thompson, both of Aurora, Illinois; and her father, Charles T. Thompson of Port Charlotte, Florida.
Visitation for Michelle will be on Saturday from 4 to 7 PM at The Day Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington.
