

Neal Edward Baxter Jr. passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2021 at St. Vincent hospital. Neal was born and raised in Bloomington, IN on February 26,1962 to Dr. Neal Baxter Sr. and Mrs. Patricia Ann (Casey) Baxter.
Neal had a passion for aviation including pursuing a pilots license, performing magic, and enjoyed traveling and exploring the world, spending much time in Atlantic City, NJ and Cape Cod, MA. In his early adulthood, Neal attended Culinary Arts school where he began his own catering company, and briefly resided in Dallas, TX working in aviation sales before moving back to Bloomington. Neal was an employee of Curry Auto Center.
Neal leaves behind 4 sisters, Kathy Baxter of Hamilton, OH, Patsy Wilson of Indianapolis, Sean Baxter of Indianapolis and Beth Baxter of Bloomington, many nieces and nephews as well as life partner Tim Donovan and children (Shane Mobley, Dillon Donovan, Reilly Donovan) and grandchildren (Kennedy Mobley, and Carter Mobley) all of Bloomington, IN. He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, and son Ryan Mobley.
Neal will be remembered for his smile, laughter, larger than life personality, and passion for music, magic, traveling, cars and aviation.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday August 22 at Day Deremiah-Frye funeral home from 1pm-2:30pm.
