Paula Lee Brown

Paula Lee (Allen) Brown, 61, passed away March 2, 2018 at her home in Bloomington, IN with her husband David by her side. Born August 31, 1956 to Charles and Delma Kay (Brown) Allen, she was the eldest of four daughters. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Paula was a lifelong resident of Bloomington, and attended Indiana University for 2 years. Her beautiful smile was infectious and she had an amazing sense of humor. Paula was talented in the art of crochet and made some of the most lovely afghan blankets for her family. She loved the ocean, and Hersey's (original) chocolate bars, but most of all she loved and adored her family. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Delma Allen and two sisters, Patricia Allen and Cynthia Allen. She is survived by her spouse of 27 years, David E. Brown of Bloomington; her four children, daughters Mia Dionne Bland of Linton, IN and Dana Nicole Bland of Bloomington; sons, David Durand Brown (Heather Cantrell) and Dondre Marquel Emanuel Brown of Bloomington; and her five grandchildren, Tyree and Andrew Gibbs, Nico Guzman, Gabriella Purtlebaugh, and Emersyn Rayne Brown all of Bloomington; and her sister, Janet Peoples also of Bloomington.
