
Richard William Schulz, 68 of Solsberry died Thursday November 14, 2013 in Monroe Hospital. He was born February 22, 1945 in Bloomington to Alvin W. Schulz and Betty J. Woods Schulz. He was retired from NWS Crane as a Tool and Die Maker. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of F&AM Lodge 401. As a paratrooper, while serving in the U.S. Army, Dick made 32 jumps and as a self proclaimed Jack of All Trades, Dick stayed busy after retirement with projects around the house and his two girls, Patches and Midnite!
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandy Walls Schulz of Solsberry; a sister, LaDonna Hancock and her husband Robert of Bloomington; a brother, Danny Schulz and his wife Kathy of Spencer; a sister-in-law, Donna Schulz of Bloomington; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stevie Schulz.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel with Pastor Dean Rose officiating. Entombment will follow.
