Robert L. “Bob” Reed, left his family to be with the Lord on February 11, 2019. He was born November 9, 1953 to Robert and Mattie Reed.
Bob was married to Elaine (Mobley) Reed on May 2, 1975, and they had 3 children Julie Barrow (Brad), Matt (Heather), and Ryan (Patty). He was also a Grampie to 10 grandchildren, whom he loved very much. Mallory Barrow, Morgan Barrow, Bryce Barrow, Gavin Reed, Lilah Reed, Piper Reed, Brody Reed, Mattilyn Reed, Allisyn Reed, and Blake Reed, all of Bloomington, Indiana
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mattie Reed, his brother, Jack Reed and his in-laws Bill and Martha Mobley.
Bob started his career as an x-ray technician at Bloomington Hospital and was promoted to Director of Radiology. He moved around as the Director of Radiology, and completed his career at Community Hospital in Anderson Indiana. His twelve years at Community Hospital was the most enjoyable.
Bob always enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports, and compete. He never missed his children compete, and rarely missed his grandchildren play.
The funeral service for Robert will be on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
