

Roger Lee Grubbs, 75, of Bedford passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 in the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born May 4, 1947 in Bloomington to Enoch E. Grubbs and Anna Kelly Grubbs. He was retired from Cook Inc. as a Maintenance Technician.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Tammy Hood Grubbs of Bedford; two sons, Daniel (Kimberly) Grubbs and Roger Lee Grubbs II both of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Hailey, Natalie, Zoey, Aaron, Kendall and Emily; a brother, Ray (Brenda) Grubbs of Monroe County; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eugene Grubbs and William “Bill” Grubbs; and a sister, Donna Walker.
Roger was of the Pentecostal Faith, he was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed boating, riding his motorcycle, going with Tammy to the Covered Bridge Festival, but mostly being with his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
