Ruby L. Henderson, 76, daughter of the late Carl E. and Merle(Hall)Moore, passed away in Garden Villa Nursing Home on December 15, 2013. Ruby was born on December 23, 1936 in Springville, Indiana but resided in Bloomington for the past 61 years.
Ruby married Harry Henderson on September 15, 1953 and he survives. She and Harry have two daughters: Carolyn(husband Randy)Swafford of Bloomington and Barbara(husband Robert)Spence of Washington state, four grandchildren: Candice Kordis, Sheri Priddy, Randall Jones, and Raina Spence. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in Day Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. also in the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Swafford officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
