I am married to Sherry’s Brother Steve and I would like to share a few things about Sherry. First time I met her was March 17, 1983 (her Birthday) and she made me feel like part of the family that day. She was so sweet, caring and the love she had for animals was just remarkable.

I’m so Happy to hear how much Everyone loved her and that she has so many Friends that knew how special she was.
To all of her wonderful friends at “Friends of Felines Rescue Center of Difiance, Ohio Thank You for sharing your stories about how you met her, and how she helped by taking pictures of the cats and everything else she did.

We will have a Memorial Service for Sherry (Nikka) in the near future and we will let you all know when & where.

Sherry your brother (Steve) & I Love You and Miss You so much.
I’m including a picture of Sherry with her Mom when she was a young girl. (Thank you Susie for sharing these) This picture is one of my very favorites.

I was so shocked & heart broken to hear of Sherry's passing. I have known her for many years. She had worked at GE with my husband Scott. I have also had the privilage of doing her hair for the last 5 years. I loved when she would come in to my salon. We laughed & shared many stories over the last 20 years. I loved her sweet compassion for animals. I will truly miss her. I would feel so honored to come to a memorial service for her when one is planned. I hope whoever plans it will announce it on her Facebook Page. RIP Sherry, Love Fritzi

I am saddened at the loss of Nikka. What a wonderful, kind and generous lady who was loved by all of us at and about FFRC. She always dressed for Catstock and wore 'groovy' clothes. She was fun to be around and no one could mistake her love for the cats and life. She had a great sense of humor and it was infectious. I will miss this gal and her camera. I know the kitties were waiting for her at the rainbow bridge to greet her. I see her smile and it lets me smile too. Rest in Peace, my friend. It was a pleasure to know you and call you friend.
