Velma Vivian Stidd Hall

Velma and her husband Robert Sr. owned and operated a Stone and Lumber business, where she was in charge of the office. She attended the Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed crocheting, needle work, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Velma is survived by her four sons, Robert Hall, Jr. and his wife Diana, Michael G. Hall, Dennis Hall and his wife Rhonda, and David Hall; nine grandchildren, Stacey, Sarah, Susan, Gina, Carrie, Cassandra, Jamie, Vivian, and Katelyn; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hall, Sr.; her two sons, Dale A. Hall and Dewayne Hall; four sisters, Jennie Name, Elfreida Bayne, Martha Collins, and Louise Richardson; and four brothers, Farwell, Leon, Lester, and Ben Stidd.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens, officiated by Pastor Glen Stidd. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
