Virginia Lucille “Jenny” Bowman, 75, of Bloomington passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. She was born November 1, 1944 in Indianapolis to Otis and Sylvia Marsh. She was a stellar wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and motorcyclist.
She is survived by her husband, James William “Bill” Bowman of Bloomington; a son, Steve Bowman of Keystone, S.D.; two grandchildren, Zachary (Victoria) Bowman of Westfield, Josie Bowman of Indianapolis and favorite daughter-in-law Lisa Bowman of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Kenneth, Mert, Dicky, and Buddy’ Marsh; three sisters, Mazie Bogard, Monie Whited and Frieda Marsh.
Jenny enjoyed spending time with her family, taking motorcycle tours with Bill, watching Bill race, crocheting, gardening, and reading.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, September 28 from 4:00 -8:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E Third St. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 29th at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Zachary and Josie Bowman officiating, burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery.
