

Wesley E. Kelley, age 67, of Bloomington, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning in Bloomington Hospital. Born November 30, 1942 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Cecil “Bud” Kelley and Evelyn (Settle) Kelley. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and owned Hilltop Auto Repair in the Dolan community. He was proud to be a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Vietnam Era Veterans Alliance. He also had served in the National Guard. He was a member of the V.I.P. c.b. radio club and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Deloach) Kelley, of Bloomington; five daughters, Debra Kelley, of Ellettsville, Kimberly Kelley, of Bedford, Carla Kelley, of Bloomington and Vickie Patton and Betty Grider, both of Ellettsville; seven grandchildren, Corey Mullet, Nathaniel Mullet, Brittany Miller, Cody Miller, Wesley McDonald, Nicholas McDonald and Aaron McDonald and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Wanda Key, one sister, Karol Sue Yowell, one brother, Jesse Kelley, and one great-grandson, Raymond “RayRay” Parker.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Day Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Stanger officiating. Burial will follow in Bridge Church Cemetery where the Veterans Honor Guard will provide military graveside rites. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 2-8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
