William Michael Jackson

Wm Michael Jackson, 72 of Bloomington, passed away with his family by his side on July 29, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Bloomington, born to the late Robert Eugene and Lillian Mae (Halstead) Jackson. Michael owned and operated Michael Jackson Painting and Wallpaper for over 40 years a longtime business he inherited from his father. He was a 1963 graduate of Bloomington High School and was in the Army Reserves from 1963 -1969. He was a member of The American Legion. He married Kerri Lynn McConnell on August 12, 1979 in Bloomington who survives. He has one daughter; Heather (husband Mike) May of Bloomington. He is also survived by his two granddaughters; Michaela and Hannah, his sister; Sandra Jackson of Beech Grove, one uncle, two aunts and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother; Robert R. Jackson. Visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5 -8 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St. Bloomington, Indiana 47401. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior to the service. This man was a teacher a leader a helper and helped me learn alot in the 20+ years I worked
For and known him we bumped heads but only cause he was teaching me something else just took awhile to learn that but he will always be talked about and a memory in my life ... till we meet again Mike rest in peace ps have my heaven mansion painted up right love u man miss u till then
