Virginia Louise Bailey

Virginia Louise Bailey, 93 of Springville, VA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021 at her home. She was born October 30, 1927 in Newhall, WV and was the daughter of the late Robert D. Angles and Alice Luvennie Burkett Angles. She was a faithful member of the Riverside Community Church, formerly First Church of God, North Tazewell, VA. She was a joy to know and a shining example of Christ’s love. She was a devoted member of the Ladies Ministry, played the organ and piano, served on many church committees, loved singing in the church choir and doing song specials with her sisters. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Heck’s Department Store and managed Cresent View Apartments. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank G. Bailey, Sr; daughter: Wanda Lee Stevenson; brother: Robert D. Angles, Jr; sisters: Anna Mae Fuller, Eunice Doss and Cathleen Shrader; great-grandchildren: Roseylan Bailey and Montana Martin.

She is survived by her son: Frankie Bailey and Wife, Theresa of Springville, VA; sister: Jean Earls (Bill) of Bluefield, VA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Matthew Hale officiating. There will be no public visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel no later than 12:45 P.M.
