Michael passed away on October 21, 2026 at the age of 42. He was survived by his parents, Norman and Rosemarie (Greco) Hanley, brother Brian Hanley and sisters Diane Hanley and Sarah Hanley. He was loved by his family, relatives and friends.
In his youth, Michael played basketball, Little League, and soccer leagues in Weymouth. Michael loved to travel, MMA Training, and skateboarding. He played with enthusiasm and intensity. Michael graduated Weymouth High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UMASS Lowell. He went on to work in the Power Plant Industry and enjoyed working with the plant construction, operations, and testing staff. He was proud of his engineering skills and ability to solve problems at the site.
Michael's life was taken too soon and will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in Peace. His family wishes to thank all those who offered love, support, and kindness in his accomplishments and struggles.
