Duaine Franklin Thieme

Duaine Franklin "Tim" Thieme, 87, of Redmond, WA, passed away on March 3, 2024. He was born on February 12, 1937, in Colby, WI. Tim, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Barbara, his daughters Terri (John) and Linda, and his grandchildren Brittany, Amber, Kaila, Cameron, and Colin. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jerome and Giles, and his daughter Keira. Tim was a giant of a man in every sense. He was firm, fair, fun, and a friend to all. Most of all he was loving, and he will be missed.

Tim proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, followed by a 25-year career in telecommunications with Seattle-area Safeco Insurance. A man of faith, he worshiped at First Lutheran Church in Bothell, WA.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11am at First Lutheran Church in Bothell, WA.
