Faith Lois Lamoree

Faith Lois Lamoree, 92, of Kirkland, formerly of Woodinville and Shelton, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2021 after a recent lively celebration of her birthday. She was born September 27, 1929 in Seattle Washington, the only daughter of Sam Benson (Danish - Severin Bentsen) and Maria Benson (Waldstrom).

Faith was a wonderful mother, graphic artist (on the SST program), Composing Supervisor for the Northshore Citizen, Cub Scout den mother, 4-H leader, seamstress, equestrian, ombudsman, and too frequently the family nurse of three boys on a farm. She also loved raising and showing Collies and horses. Faith enjoyed meeting with many West Seattle High School classmates for over six decades.

Faith was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Lamoree who passed away August 7, 2015. Faith and Myron had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary that year and will now be back together again.

Faith and Myron are survived by their three sons Guy Lamoree and wife Sue, Rand Lamoree, and Bret Lamoree and wife Ellen; five grandchildren Starlena, Shawna, Shane, Brennan, and Malia; six great grandchildren Celeste, Sidney, Brooke, Tyler, Pierce, and Ty.

Faith & Myron met at Washington State College (now Washington State University) and later married and moved to Woodinville, Washington where they raised their three boys and numerous animals on the family farm.

Faith was an amazing lady that many were fortunate enough to have in their lives. A celebration of Faith’s life is anticipated for the summer of 2022.
