To know Larry, you would know that his smile was as contagious as his good humor and warm heart.
When he would be out enjoying activities he loved like pool tournaments, fishing, camping, hiking, anyone with him could not help but enjoy the outings because of his sense of humor. We will all miss him.
The world is a little less bright without his compassion and caring ear that so many depended on especially his sister who loved him unconditionally.
Although he never married, he was a great uncle to his niece and nephew Kim and Paul Sayers. More like a second father. He was the fun uncle that took Paul on fishing and camping trips while making special time for Kim whenever she wanted to talk about 4H and her love of animals.
He was never far from family. In fact after he moved into his three unit townhome where he lived for 40 years, he became close with everyone there. His sense of caring and community reached the hearts of his neighbors and they became like a second family.
After he retired from being an electrician from 1970-2011, he was able to try new hobbies like golf for example, which he tried for about a month and then moved on to the activities he really loved.
Mostly being in the great outdoors. He lived the life he wanted.
