Nancy was born the fourth child of Kenneth and Veronica Lee October 22, 1952 in Hartford, Connecticut. Her early years were shaped by her inquisitive, intelligent mind and her love of swimming. From an early age, Nancy learned to overcome challenges, such as being the first open heart surgery pediatric patient in Connecticut.
In 1988, Nancy moved with her former husband to Everett where she grew to appreciate the Pacific Northwest—summer days at Mukilteo Beach, the local library programs, and the familiar comfort food of Ivar’s restaurant. Nancy embraced the simple joys that made her smile—football games, finding a good deal, Häagen-Dazs ice cream, exploring new restaurants, long conversations with her sisters and nephew, and treasured time with her children. Her greatest happiness came when her children visited, filling her home with laughter, stories, and the joy of their adventures. She lived for those moments and for the love she shared with them.
Nancy’s fun-loving, feisty personality will be missed beyond words, but her love will live on in every life she touched.
Nancy is survived by her brother David Lee, sisters Linda Dunne and Pam Hamblin, and children: Jennifer, Sara, Sean and Diana Spencer. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Gabriel and Archie Spencer.
She will remain forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
