Bud (Robert Naff) was a good neighbor and a good human being who got taken away from us way to soon he raised a good son and was a good husband to wife Christie may he rest in peace

Bud was generous, mischievous,  and caring. He and Cristy opened their home, Chateau Naff, to us whenever Robby & I visited Seattle and treated me like family. He had fun stories to share about Robby's mom, Karen, so I got to know her more through him and Cristy. I will always remember his impish grin ... because I never knew if he was pulling my leg or not. I will miss his chuckle, his scruffy cheek (last time we hugged) and his stories. One more star in the sky for me to smile at. I feel lucky to have had him in my life.

Oh Bud how I will miss you and that big smile of yours! And that wit!  You are full of life! Always a joke or riddle on your tongue and a twinkle in your eye, you' d get us one way or another!   You're desires to make me (us) laugh from that big heart of yours came and helped me remember to have fun along the way. You made friends and made me feel special.   I love you Bud, it was my sweet pleasure to be your hygienist for all those years! May you receive a saintly reward and be rushed into the Arms of your Savior, JESUS CHRIST! Amen Helene

Bud, one of the smartest and kindest people I know.  You took me in and taught me to be an adult then allowed me to be your friend.  You are always in my heart…so you are always in the world.

As long as we remember, Uncle Bud was a wealth of information and very witty.  If you want to know something you could ask him and he would have the answer.  He amazed us and we are going to miss him dearly.

Bud would pick us up at the airport to surprise Christy and Brian when we visited!  He toured us around Washington in his Denali and Pauline would always be the only one awake to listen to him.  Pauline always presented him with the largest wooden utensils to indicate that she’s ready for a meal.  We will miss you always!!  You always smiled when we visited and we stayed awhile!

I had the honor and the pleasure of caring for him during his final days of his journey.  From day one, he was pleasant, jovial, and kind with every visit, even though I knew he was very uncomfortable, he never showed it.  His wife and son were always there supporting him, and lovingly caring for him.  He had memories to share during my visits, and to me he was a hero.  I have cared for many, many patients during my 30 years of nursing, but Mr. Naff was a unicorn, because though his discomfort he never complained, and even when he was weak, he kept on going.  He was very respectful and made me smile every time I saw him.   Rest In Peace.  Thank you for allowing me into your home.      Sincerely. Ana May.
