Vitaliy V Fishchuk

March 15, 1991August 31, 2019

Vitaliy was born in Rivne Ukraine on March 15, 1991. He was the firstborn of two sons in his family. Just after Vitaliy's first birthday, he immigrated with his family to the United States. Vitaliy was always surrounded by his loving family which also included his Grandpa Ivan and Grandma Olga. They had a significant role in building his character to become the man that he was. As a young boy, he loved spending time with his grandpa Ivan by going fishing and just being outdoors. His family meant everything to him. Vitaliy was a devoted son to his Mother Miroslava and a protector and role model to his Brother David. Vitaliy was a young hard working man who loved his job and loved his coworkers. He started working at Costco when he was in College and after earning his degree, Vitaliy was promoted to a Network Engineer where he worked for the last 10 years. Vitaliy loved God and enjoyed going to church with his family and was baptized by the Holy Spirit when he was 19 years old. Vitaliy was drawn to the beauty of nature and marveled at God's creations. In his free time, he would go on long hiking journeys to spend time with God and to be at peace. That was one place that he felt relief from the migraine headaches he suffered with for most of his adult life. Vitaliy wanted to live his life to the fullest and continue discovering God's purpose for him. By doing what he loved he brought many positive changes to his character and his life. On August 31, 2019 Vitaliy finished his journey on this earth and went to be with his Heavenly Father for eternity. He will always be remembered by his family for his big bear hugs, beautiful smile, fearless spirit and his kindness and compassion towards others. Vitaliy will always be loved and never forgotten. Vitaliy is survived by his Mother Miroslava, Stepfather Wayne, Brother David and Sister-In Law Yana.

The best memory I have of Vitaliy is being cube mates at work for a reason- we were both loud. The jokes and memories are endless. Miss ya man.

I was beyond shocked and saddened to find out Vitaliy had passed away.

He and I shared the same interests and hobbies, and spoke and interacted near every single day. We always had something to talk about, always had something to have fun with, always had something to look forward to. He was always a genuine human being you could always look forward to talking to every day of the week, there was always a smile to be had with him.

My heart goes out to his family in this most heartbreaking of times, sudden loss of family is a pain that can never be put into words.

This goodbye is only temporary however, because we will meet again one day. Vitaliy was a dear and true friend that will never be forgotten, one day, we will meet again buddy.

There were a number of times where I worked late or came into the office at night and Vitaliy was always there. He'd wander over to our area when it was quiet and we'd BS for awhile - always smiling, and always happy. He really made staying late an enjoyable experience.

I'll miss you, man.

When I was a CSR at the Service Desk, Vitaliy was always friendly, understanding, and ready to help whenever I had to call. That was 4 years ago, but I still remember and appreciate his positive can do attitude and eagerness to help.
