Baron Maxwell Klein, Beloved Son, Brother, Partner, and Friend, passed to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 4, at the age of 22. He will always be remembered for his strong will, strength, determination and unwavering love for his friends and family. Born on January 4, 2001, in Hinsdale, IL. Baron’s athletic abilities were apparent from a young age and grew into a passion for boxing and weightlifting. With remarkable discipline, he continued to push himself, as well as others to exceed their physical and mental limits by setting new goals and always striving for their best.
After high school Baron was headed for West Point but decided he would rather gain the respect of others as an officer earning his honor from the ground up. Baron served in the Army as a Combat Medic from August 6, 2019, until April 14, 2022. His time included one tour in Korea and he received the following medals for his service: Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal (AFSM), and the Army Service Ribbon. Baron’s bravery and selflessness were evident as he tended to an accident with mass casualties saving several lives. For this he received the Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) granted for his act of heroism. Baron’s commitment to protecting others was a testament to his character and deep sense of duty. Beyond his military career, Baron pursued a career as an EMT with plans of becoming paramedic/firefighter and marrying the love of his life Emilie.
Baron was not only a dedicated son, brother and loving partner but also a loyal and dependable friend. He had a huge heart and would go to great lengths to help others, demonstrating an unparalleled spirit of generosity. His genuine kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Baron professed his faith in God by being baptized before entering the military, and we know where he is now, in the loving arms of Jesus. His spirit will always be with us. May his soul find eternal peace and may his love, kindness, smile, sense of humor and faith continue to inspire and lift us up in the days to come.
Baron leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Gregg and Michelle Klein, brother Harrison, partner Emilie, extended family, and countless friends. A celebration of life for Baron will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Crist Mortuary Chapel, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301.
Baron you are gone too soon, but your memory will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, our beloved son, brother and friend. We Love you.
