

Betsy was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. She attended APSU and received her bachelors in Interior Design from MTSU. Betsy and her family have lived in Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and currently in Islamorada, FL and Boulder, CO throughout her family's career. Betsy enjoyed renovating or building over 15 homes where her family has lived.
Betsy is survived by her husband Stephen Pearse (also formerly of Clarksville), children Scott, Katy, and Jim, and grandchildren Miles and Henry.
Betsy and her husband Stephen have worked with and funded fundamental research and trials in treatments for her cancer, Multiple Myeloma, including Dana Farber, Johns Hopkins, and Mayo Clinic institutions.
Betsy was a devoted mother to her children and adored her grandchildren. Her goal was to create the best environment for her family. She was the embodiment of love, empathy and compassion to her family and friends. She was known for her grace, dignity, keen sense of humor and strength beyond belief.
Her family is holding services in both Boulder, CO and their winter home in Islamorada, FL. She loved the cool green mountains in summer and warm blue sea in winter.
