Carol O’Sullivan

Carol O’Sullivan, beloved mother, wife, and lifelong learner, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 16, 1945, in Asheville, North Carolina, Carol spent her early years in Washington, D.C., where she was raised by her parents John and Barbara Hall alongside her sister, Barbara Stitt (deceased).
With an adventurous spirit, Carol ventured west to Boulder, Colorado, where she built a home filled with love and curiosity. She devoted herself to raising her two wonderful sons, embodying resilience, and determination along the way.
Carol’s path led her to marry the love of her life, George O’Sullivan (deceased), with whom she shared a profound bond. Known for her compassionate nature, she had a deep love for animals and an unwavering curiosity about life’s mysteries, always seeking ways to make the world a better place.
Despite the demands of raising her children, Carol achieved her dream of higher education, earning her Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder after years of dedication and hard work. Her achievements stand as a testament to her perseverance and intellectual spirit.
Carol leaves behind a legacy of love, curiosity, and accomplishment that will be cherished by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two sons, Chris Tourault and Steve Tourault (Kelli) , grandchildren Lindsay, Nicole, Camille, Jack, and Luke Tourault and four Stepsons; Kevin, (Donna), Mike, (Lori), Brian (Carmen), Jim (Sarah) and step-grandchildren Matthew, Mason, Colin, Evan, Dillon, Kasey, and Jake O’Sullivan and their families.
